Addition to the Operational Support Facility
Location: Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO
Owner: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)
Construction Costs: $8 Million
• Managed construction of a three story office building addition to the existing occupied Operational Support Facility.
• Totaled 47,000 square feet.
• Received an Outstanding Performance Evaluation from the USACE for providing a quality project while working through numerous contract modifications, default of a major subcontractor, and major damage to the structure caused by 100 mph winds.
• Completed the project 3 months ahead of schedule and doubled the bid day fee.
• Utilized advanced Project Manager techniques, including cost and resource loaded scheduling for project control, production tracking and billing purposes.
ParkRidge Four
Location: Littleton, CO
Owner: Patrinely Group
Construction Costs: $12.7 Million
• Managed construction of one six story core and shell office building and below level parking for 72 vehicles.
• Totaled 200,000 square feet.
• Completed the project under budget and on schedule.
Avaya Research and Development Facilities
Location: Westminister, CO
Owner: Avaya
Construction Costs: $115 Million
Project Manager
• Provided project management services on this five building facility.
• Facility includes central atrium, conference and presentation building, two research and development wings and two precast parking garages.
• Totaled 450,000 square feet.
• Provided change order management services on this fast track project, which required designing the facility during construction causing over 50 modifications to the contract documents and approximately $20 mil worth of owner directed changes.
• Provided subcontractor buyout and coordination, and document control services.
Sun Microsystems Colorado Campus Phase I
Location: Broomfield, CO
Owner: Sun Microsystems
Construction Costs: $84 Million
• Provided project management services on this five building office campus.
• Totaled 563,000 square feet on 72 acres site.
• Campus houses open and closed offices, conference and training rooms, clean room facility, central plant, cafeteria, and fitness center.
• Provided change order management services including estimating, coordinating, and negotiating approximately $15M of owner directed changes.
